Happy half-birthday to my boy!
I can't even believe that I have a six-month-old baby. Liam is getting to be such a big boy. Everyday he looks less like a baby and more like a big kid.
At six months Liam is more active than ever. Whenever I try to change his diaper on the floor he immediately rolls over and starts reaching for toys, completely bare-bottomed. It's adorably hilarious. He has also learned what a box is and is always trying to tip them over to see what's inside. He's eating oatmeal for dinner every night and loves every bite. His nursing hasn't decreased...he still nurses 8-10 times a day. And his sleep, unfortunately, hasn't gotten any better. He wakes up 3-4 times a night and usually will only go back to sleep if he nurses. Part of me doesn't mind and part of me is very sleepy. I keep telling myself that he'll sleep through the night someday. He loves his jumperoo and looks like a crazy person jumping around in there. He likes music and will usually calm down when he hears it. Everything goes in his mouth but he still only has his two bottom teeth. He sits up like a champ. I'm impressed with how steady he is when he sits. He can grab most items and pass them back and forth between his hands. He's wearing 9-month size clothing. He likes watching Sesame Street and often talks to Elmo on the phone (it's an app called Elmo Calls, it's really cute). And to celebrate his half-birthday he ate his first avocado. It was very yummy. I'm excited to start introducing all kinds of new foods to my Little Man.
I've started planning Liam's first birthday party. Exciting! I'm thinking it'll be a nautical theme. I can't wait. I would also like to take him to Disney World. I think he would have so much at Animal Kingdom.
So this is Liam's six-month photo. I love those adorable cheeks.
