Reading: Ugh. Can I be honest and tell you what I'm not reading?? My one-year Bible plan. I have fallen behind, folks....I know, and it's only February. I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself and just take it one day at a time. It's not about getting through the Bible begrudgingly, it's about reading the whole of God's Word and getting something out of it. So yeah, I may be behind, but I'll keep going. Promise.
Watching: Grey's Anatomy... Downton Abbey... Modern Family... There are some good shows out there! I only really get to watch TV once Liam has gone to bed for the night...because during the day it's all about Mickey Mouse and Fresh Beat Band.
Anticipating: Are you kidding me?! The birth of my daughter of course! She will be born NEXT MONTH. I mean, she could be here as soon as five weeks from now! I'm so excited to meet her and so excited to experience a home birth. While we're on the subject can I just say a few things about our decision to have a home birth? I love talking about childbirth, breastfeeding, raising kids, etc. Love it. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about anything, including home birth...but sometimes people really need to watch how they ask questions. Our decision to have a home birth was not entered into lightly. We thought about it long and hard. We prayed about it. And believe me, no one loves Isabel more than I do...no one is more concerned with her health and safety more than I am. If I doubted for even a second that this was not for us, I wouldn't do it. But I have full confidence in my body and in my midwife; and everything will be just fine. :-) Read more about our decision to have a home birth here.
Eating: Ev-er-y-thing. I am hungry these days! My one consistent snack each and every single day is a PBJ. I never get tired of it. What can I say? I'm easy to please when it comes to food.
Wishing: Liam would be a consistent sleeper. This boy always keeps us on our toes when it comes to the sleep department. Some nights he is fantastic! He will stay in his own bed all night, not making a peep until 7am. Other nights...well, it doesn't go that well. Sighhh. I try not to stress about it. This won't last forever. I'm just happy he's nowhere near as bad as he used to be! Still...it would be nice to have him sleeping through the night on a regular basis.
