Week 35 - Take 2

Just about five more weeks to go! I can't believe it. Everything is pretty much set and ready for Izzy's arrival. I'm glad we're good to go but now I have nothing to do but wait! I'm not very good at waiting. It's funny because when I was pregnant with Liam I was in no hurry. I mean, I was anxious to meet my son but I was okay with waiting until he was good and ready to come out. I knew most babies were born after their due date so I settled in to wait as long as it took. He ended up being born five days earlier than his due date. I'm not sure what will happen with Isabel as every pregnancy and baby is unique, but I'm hoping she will be a little early too! I'm just so much more uncomfortable this time around. Maybe it's because I have Liam to care for everyday. I try to take it easy but with a one and half year old around that's not always possible. I will say that Liam really is amazing. He can definitely be a feisty handful but most days he doesn't give me a hard time at all. Bless him! So I'm hoping by early March Isabel will be with us. We will just have to wait and see what happens. In the mean time, pray that I am able to get as much rest as possible!

I've been thinking a lot about placenta encapsulation. There are so many benefits to it! I'm not "hippie" enough to make a placenta smoothie and drink it down, but I can handle taking it in pill-form. I've mentioned that I struggled with depression after Liam was born and I have read that, "full of life energy, the placenta aids in postpartum wellness by replenishing your system with natural iron & protein and helps reintroduce these essential hormones back into your system." Read more here. Anyway, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the very best mother I can be for my babies.

Here is week 35 in the belly series.
